Dragon Energy Ltd is an Australian public company established in 2006 with the aim of exploring and developing uranium projects in Australia and China. It currently has a joint venture with the successful ASX-listed company, Deep
Yellow Limited, to earn a 75% interest in five project areas in Queensland covering over 2600 sq kilometres.

A major difference offered by Dragon Energy is its exclusive strategic contractual arrangement with the Jiangxi Nuclear Bureau of China to cooperate on their uranium projects in the Jiangxi province, one of four provinces in China identified to host most of China’s uranium deposits. This strategic agreement provides Dragon Energy with exclusive rights to priority projects already identified in the Jiangxi Province which is home to one-third of identified uranium reserves in China. In addition, the Jiangxi Nuclear Bureau is a significant shareholder in Dragon Energy, and has the capacity to provide both technical and financial support for Dragon’s vision to develop advanced uranium projects in China and Australia.

Dragon Energy is the first company outside China to have negotiated a strategic relationship of this kind with any Chinese provincial nuclear bureau. This gives Dragon Energy a tremendous head-start advantage in working with major Chinese players to access their uranium projects in China. Dragon Energy’s world leadership in this endeavour will be a very significant strategic advantage for its shareholders into the future.
